- Connection with current and future Partner Charities. Philanthropy International functions as a liaison between the professional and charitable communities. PI works to find a professional advisor within our National Charity Council that fits the charities goals and objectives, assisting them in implementing their marketing strategy. CPS’s may be invited to work on behalf of a Partner Charity to identify prospective gifts as well as prospective clients.
- Assist your favorite charity with new funding resources by introducing them to the Philanthropy International Partner Charity program. As the connecting CPS, you will become the volunteer planned giving officer for that newly established Partner Charity.
- Exclusive participation in monthly web-based training classes (webinars) that will be given by experts in relevant fields of interest such as, charitable, estate, and financial planning.
- Invitations to our two charitable planning conferences (typically in April and October) where attendees from all over the country share ideas, discuss advanced concepts, and network with one another. For Members, the conference fee is waived or discounted, however travel and lodging expenses are the member’s responsibility.
- Participation in an online extranet for Council Members where advanced case issues can be discussed in a professional way with other experts from around the country. This is a resource that many professionals will use to find answers to difficult or highly technical questions.
- Audio and video materials on various tax-exempt and estate planning strategies. These materials discuss many of the solutions that you can provide to potential clients.
- Marketing tools and techniques designed to help you reach new clients. You will have access to co–written articles, tax-saving seminars for clients, and many other opportunities.
- Opportunities to talk with co–counsel (attorneys) when a local expert may not be available in your state. This gives you an opportunity to help your client while creating a new relationship with a local attorney who could be a strong potential referral source.
- Potential opportunities to present as an expert at seminars that are arranged in your area by the local regional support firm or charity. Expertise and ability will play an important role in the selection process.
- Access to our password–protected website. This site has many documents including marketing materials, seminar PowerPoint presentations, technical audio presentations and sample case studies.
